Alignment

No, each letter is individually hand stamped, not machine engraved, making it impossible for the letters to be perfectly straight. You should expect variations from piece to piece as these items are made by human hands adding to their charm and uniqueness.

Care and Cleaning

Sterling silver, copper and brass will all tarnish over time, especially in humid conditions. Polish cloths will clean your item up in a snap and are available for purchase in the shop.

Single bands will be laid out to best fit your personalization information. Not all fonts/symbol combinations will be compatible with the symbol fitting under the name on a single band. This is due to the width/height of both fonts/symbols. I will create your item to best showcase both, but name over symbol is not guaranteed. If you require reassurance about how your item will be laid out please message me prior to ordering for clarification. Once your order is submitted you agree to allow us as makers to lay out the information in the most aesthetically pleasing way to fit your personalization.

Proofs

Unfortunately, no. We don't machine engrave. We hand stamp. Each letter, number or symbol is individually struck into metal using a hammer, steel marking tools and an anvil. Because no technology or machinery is involved, it's impossible to provide a proof of the item prior to it being created. 

Returns

No. There are no returns on personalized items. If there is a problem with your piece (a misspelling, a missing name, incorrect date, broken chain, etc.) please know the issue will be corrected immediately. We'd like to say mistakes don't happen but we are only human so that isn't always the case! Just let us know what issue you are experiencing and we will be happy to rectify the situation for you.

Shipping

Our estimated time to process and ship orders is 5-7 business days. During our busiest seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, Graduation) items ship 2-3 weeks from the date of purchase.

We're as excited as you are for you to receive your one of a kind handmade piece! You can find the ship date of your item on your invoice (one was emailed to you after your purchase.) Your item will ship on the date listed. 

Items ship via USPS first class mail. Once we ship your item please allow 5-7 days for it to arrive.

Once we mail a package we have no direct control over it's handling. First class mail is not a guaranteed delivery date service. USPS estimated delivery dates are guidelines only. Unfortunately, we are unable to see any shipping updates other than what you see online. We do not have access to USPS's proprietary system. Please report to us packages that are 14 days or older from the last scan. At that point we are able to file a lost mail report for you with USPS. Refunds are not available on lost/delayed mail but we will happily replace your item.

Stethoscope ID Tags

Alignment on the tag is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, length of personalization, choice of font/symbol, placement on tubing, brand/model of stethoscope and width of tubing. Refunds will not be issued for bands not aligning as shown in the listing photos. The photo is an example, not a guarantee.

Items are created based off of the first photo shown in the listing. If the listing photo shows name on top and design on the bottom that is how your item will be made. If it shows personalization of top, credentials on the bottom and a symbol on the back, that is how your item will be created. If you would like to change the layout shown it is your responsibility to note this either in the personalization box or a follow up note after your order is placed. We are not responsible for lack of communication regarding your desired layout preferences.  

As stated in the personalization instructions, symbols will not be added unless specified by you along with your personalization. If the item arrived with only a name it's because you did not note a symbol choice.
